One Step is more than an addiction recovery program…

it’s a study to help those who want to gain victory over life-dominating sin, teaching principles from God’s Word that leads to restoration and wholeness.

These lessons are intended for use in an addiction recovery ministry and can be used one-on-one with individuals or in a group setting. The lessons can form the basis of a program that, with proper oversight, is acceptable to a court of law for those on probation after they have been found guilty of a drug or alcohol-related offense. It must be understood by all that such a program is a Christian-based program and that biblical principles are taught.

The Holy Bible is the true syllabus for this curriculum. The Bible itself says, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). The lessons have a logical sequence that builds upon the previous ones. If time and personnel constraints prevent covering all of the material, carefully consider how all the main points of the lessons can be taught. Ideally, all of the material should be used.

Below are links to both the PDF worksheets and video recordings of the teachings for each chapter and lesson.
